The group's principal activities are the exploration, development and production of oil and gas. The activities also include refining and marketing oil and gas in the east European nation of Georgia. The group is a member of three production sharing arrangements, the ninotsminda, manavi and west rustavi production sharing contract, the nazvrevi production sharing contract and the norio and north kumisi production sharing agreement. It also has exploratory and developmental oil and gas properties in Georgia and ukraine in the stynawske oilfield and the bugruvativske oilfield. It addition, it has interests in a refinery and a chain of petrol stations located in and around tbilisi, Georgia.
